LHU launches technology competitions for 2023-2024

LHU on September 15 organized a ceremony to summarize and launch technology competitions for the 2023-2024 academic year. The event was attended by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Vu Quynh, Vice Rector; DSc. Pham Van Toan - Dean of the Faculty of Mechatronics and Electronics; MSc. Le Hoang Anh – Vice Dean, lecturers, staff and more than 200 students at all levels.

The program also saw the presence of Mr. Gerald Ho - General Director of SMC Corporation Vietnam Co. Ltd. It is known that in 2023 the Company sponsored robot teams of LHU to participate in the 2023 Vietnam Robocon for more than 75 million VND. In 2024, SMC Corporation will transfer equipment worth nearly 2.9 billion VND to LHU. Simultaneously, the Company continues to donate pneumatic equipment for the 2024 Robocon.

At the program, all the participants reviewed technology competitions in the 2022-2023 school year. For the past year, LHU, specifically the Faculty of Mechatronics and Electronics, had successfully organized the Electrical Cabinet Design Contest, the PLC Design Contest, the Lac Hong Racing Car, and the Lac Hong Go-Kart. In addition, its students participated in national and international competitions such as 2023 Vietnam Robocon, Shell Eco-marathon Asia-Pacific and the Middle East 2023,...

Through competitions, students can create practical applications and solutions to help improve life and contribute to social development.
