LHU students participate in EPICS 2024

This morning, January 25, 2024, 4 teams from LHU set off to participate in the EPICS (Engineering Projects in Community Service) final round held at Cao Thang College in Ho Chi Minh City. 

The event was attended by hundreds of students, lecturers, representatives of the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Education and Training, representatives of USAID and guests from businesses.

The EPICS final showcase 2024 attracting 19 teams from 6 technical universities as partners of the BUILD-IT Project

EPICS is an internationally recognized practical learning model where student teams will partner with a community organization to design, build, and deploy systems to solve social issues.

This is the sixth time the EPICS program has been held in Vietnam, and also the seventh time in cooperation with the Dow Vietnam STEM Program. The program aims to promote University - Industry learning and development through Innovation and Technology, supported by the USAID, implemented by Arizona State University and Dow Vietnam STEM Program, jointly supporting students' innovation and learning through projects at Vietnamese universities.

This year's competition attracted 19 student teams from engineering and technology universities in Ho Chi Minh City, Can Tho, Da Nang and Hanoi.

Participating in EPICS 2024, LHU has 4 teams including LHU-Team 1 and Team LHU-Team 2 from Faculty of Mechatronics and Electronics; Team LHU-Team 3 and Team LHU-Team 4 from Faculty of Information Technology.
