At 2:30 p.m. on April 26, 2024, the Youth Union - Student Association of the Faculty of Oriental Studies successfully organized the final round of the 10th Oriental Color Competition 2024. The event attracted the participation of a large number of students loving East Asian culture and languages. The Competition aims to create a useful playground for students to show their artistic talents.

The finale saw the presence of Dr. Nguyen Thi Thu Lan - Vice Rector; Dr. Nguyen Huu Nghi – Dean of Faculty of Oriental Studies, MA. Nguyen Thi Nhu Thuong - Vice Dean; Ms. Truong Le Bao Trinh - Secretary of Youth Union of LHU; guest judges; Heads of Departments, lecturers, staff, representatives of the Executive Committee of the Youth Union - Student Association, and more than 200 students.
The "Oriental Colors” Contest received the enthusiastic participation of students from the four Departments: Chinese Language, Korean Studies, Japanese Studies and Vietnamese for Foreigners.
The preliminary round held on April 19 gathered 30 special repertoires performed by talented students from the four above Departments. Each performance brought a unique and amazing color, contributing to highlighting the beauty and diversity of East Asian culture in general and Chinese, Korean, Japanese, and Vietnamese culture in particular.
The 10 best performances were selected for the final round. Their styles of performances, diverse investment in costumes and props, and their talents brought the audience exciting moments and lots of feelings.
After a responsible working session, the Jury selected the most impressive performances to award.

The First prize belonged to the repertoire "Chinese Dance - Left hand refers to the moon" performed by a group of students from class 22DT112 - Department of Chinese Language. The joy of victory was multiplied for the Chinese Language Department as they additionally claimed Second Prize (class 22DT113) and Third Prize (class 22DT111 and class 22DT113) at the 10th Oriental Colors Competition.
