The Korean Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KoCham) on October 7 afternoon, 2024 awarded 4 scholarships each worth VND 5 million to 4 students of LHU. This is the 7th time the KoCham has organized the scholarship award ceremony.
KoCham scholarship is given to second and third-year students majoring in Korean Studies. The scholarship fund aims to encourage and help difficult students majoring in Korean Studies at universities and colleges in Vietnam including LHU.
Previously, 4 Korean Studies students of LHU received scholarships at the 2023 KoCham scholarship award ceremony.

Accordingly, the four students receiving 2024 KoCham scholarships are Tran Thi Kim Yen (class 21DH111); Neang So Da (class 21DH112); Nguyen Thi Cam Linh (class 22DH111) and Nguyen Thi Yen Oanh (class 22DH113).
KoCham established in 2003 is a non-profit organization representing more than 5,000 Korean businesses investing in Central and Southern Vietnam. KoCham has organized many activities to call on Korean businesses to contribute to charity funds to support difficult circumstances. It has established a Scholarship Fund for Korean Studies students in Vietnam since 2018.
