More than VND 6.5 billion in scholarships given to LHU freshmen

LHU has recently announced a Decision to award VND 6,549,350 billion scholarships to new students of the 2024 intake. In the 2024-2025 school year alone, LHU welcomes its freshmen with diverse scholarship categories such as: Science and Technology Scholarships; Scholarships for Technical Female Students, Studious Poor Scholarships, Companionship Scholarship (brothers/sisters studying at LHU), Corporate Scholarships, Scholarships for Youth Union/Class Leaders,... The most valuable one is the "Valedictorian Scholarship" worth 100% of tuition fee for the first semester, which is scheduled to be awarded at the Opening Ceremony of the 2024 - 2025 academic year and the music night to welcome new students held on October 30 at 6:30 p.m at Buu Long Tourist Area (Bien Hoa city).

The scholarship program is not only a financial aid but also a commitment from the University to improve the education quality and foster students' comprehensive development."

2024 entrance valedictorians of LHU to be honored at the upcoming 2024-2025 Academic Year Opening Ceremony

At LHU, regardless of admission forms (National high school graduation exam or high school transcript), all candidates are considered for scholarship opportunities, as long as they achieve the highest scores compared to other ones in the same Faculty or the same form. Accordingly, in 2024, with 2 forms of admission and 9 specialized faculties, LHU has selected 18 valedictorian scholarships, equivalent to 100% of the first semester tuition fee. Of these, the Pharmacist major is VND 23.5 million/scholarship, the remaining majors are VND 16 - 17.5 million/scholarship (depending on the study program). This is not only a well-deserved reward for the new students' efforts and achievements, but also a source of encouragement to accompany students during their learning at LHU. The diverse scholarship policy of LHU is a timely and practical encouragement for candidates' efforts; motivating them to constantly strive for self improvement in study and life, creating an ideal environment for students' comprehensive development.

To maintain a stronger scholarship fund, in addition to LHU's internal policies and resources, businesses play a very important role in joining hands with the University to carry out this mission.
