Pre-marriage knowledge, skills, and counseling workshop for university students

At Room B203, Campus 1 of Lac Hong University, a training workshop on pre-marriage knowledge, skills, and counseling was held for students from universities and colleges across Dong Nai Province. The program was jointly organized by the Dong Nai Provincial Student Association, Lac Hong University Student Association, and Dong Nai General Hospital, attracting the participation of 150 students.

During the session, students attended and discussed two key topics:

• Topic 1: “Contraceptive Methods” presented by Dr. Le Van Thuan, Department of Obstetrics, Dong Nai General Hospital.

• Topic 2: “Updated Knowledge on HIV Prevention and the Use of PrEP Medication” delivered by Dr. Tran Le Viet Thanh, Specialist Level I.

• 

  The workshop aimed to equip students of pre-marital age with essential knowledge on effective contraception, reproductive health care, and family planning. It also guided students in building happy, equal, and progressive family lives in the future — a proactive approach to addressing population aging challenges in the coming years.
