On July 20, 2024, the Faculty of Postgraduate Studies held a seminar themed "Applications of AI in learning and research" with the participation of the Board of Rectors, leaders of faculties, centers, and units; a large number of lecturers, postgraduate students, students, and individuals inside and outside the University.

In the context of the strongly ongoing 4.0 industrial revolution, artificial intelligence (AI) has become an important tool in many fields, especially education and scientific research. The seminar aims to provide lecturers and students with extensive knowledge and understanding of AI applications in learning and research, contributing to the quality of education and research efficiency at LHU.
In his opening remarks, Dr. Lam Thanh Hien - Rector said "Three main development goals of LHU are training; scientific research and technology transfer; and community service. Among these, connecting with the community helps create a dynamic learning environment, promoting creativity and opening up new research directions. This also contributes to solving local and national practical problems, strengthening the close connection between school and society".

During the seminar, keynotes speakers including Dr. Lam Thanh Hien - Rector; Dr. Le Phuong Truong - Head of Office of Educational Testing and Q.A; MSc. Nguyen Trong Vinh - Head of Office of Academic Affairs, PhD student and MSc. Tran Van Thanh - Lecturer of Faculty of Mechatronics and Electronics respectively presented their topics such as Some experience in using CHATGPT in scientific writing, installation and testing; Some current AI platforms: OpenRead, Research Buddy, Ask My Book, Playbooks, Consensus, Minerva, Minerva, Elicit, Tyles, ResearchRabbit, Ask an AI; Synthesis of research papers with Scholar AI; How to write scientific papers using CHATGPT; Practice, discussion and experience sharing.
