At 8:00 a.m. on September 18, 2024, at Hall D503, Campus 2, the Department of Korean Studies under the Faculty of Oriental Studies, LHU successfully organized a cultural exchange program between its students and a volunteer delegation from Daejeon province, Korea, consisting of 25 members as oriental medicine doctors and students.

The volunteer delegation was warmly welcomed by Mr. Nguyen Huu Nghi - Dean of the Faculty of Oriental Studies; Mr. Hoang Tien Dung - Deputy Head of the Office of International Affairs; lecturers and students majoring in Korean Studies.

In his opening remarks, Dr. Nguyen Huu Nghi expressed his joy to welcome the delegation to participate in the cultural exchange program with LHU students.
The program was designed with a variety of experiencing activities such as Jumping rope, making mooncakes, making triangular kimbap, playing Yutnori, playing shuttlecock, singing nursery rhymes, playing air hammer game, etc.

The cultural exchange program is an opportunity for students of both countries to learn, exchange and share about their unique cultural features, thereby introducing cultural beauties to international friends. It also gives students of LHU an opportunity to practice and improve their speaking skills through interesting activities and direct interactions with native speakers.

The program ended with beautiful and memorable experiences. Both sides expressed their wishes to have more opportunities to meet and exchange cultures in the future. Hopefully, the cultural exchange activities will contribute to promoting the friendship between students of the two countries to be stronger and closer.
